Solaris Core

-
Representing the basic core functional design used by the bulk of the Solaris presets (and including some brand new presets just for Solaris Core), this more compact (1024 x 768 screen res) offshoot of the Solaris provides you with the same kind of powerful sounds available in its bigger sibling, at a reduced price. Also, Solaris Core features completely new functions, such as linear frequency mod for all oscillator sections, the ability to modulate one mod path with a second, and more filter types and FX Inserts. In addition, Solaris Core owners will be able to upgrade to the full Solaris if desired.

Quantum Wave

-
Based on the functional design of the Waldorf Wave, using the Creamware Waldorf oscillators and the LP filter from the Pro One emulation (with an additional 12 dB HP filter). It is structured as a 4-part synth, meaning there are 4 individual synths inside the device. Stereo Flanger and Delay are included, or you can route each of the four synths separately from 4 Aux outputs.

Proph@t Plus

-
Based on the famous synth from 1978, this version comes with Low=High-, and Bandpass filters, Wave Oscillators for sample playback, stereo effects (flanger and delay) and many other expanded functions.

Red Dwarf EX v3.0

-
Introducing the updated Red Dwarf EX v3.0 Semi-Modular system. This concept provides a basic 'synthesizer shell', into which a variety of oscillators, filters, and effects modules can be put together by the user, within certain structural limitations. Using the modulation and signal routing from that device as the basic 'shell', the user can insert any two sound sources and any two filters in the SLOTS provided to create his own 'custom' design. Even more important, EACH preset can be contain different modules for these slots, as well as for the effects, providing for a much more flexible device. It's even possible to obtain some unusual routings, such as placing an oscillator block into a filter slot, using the oscillator slots as sources of modulation, etc., or for the ultimate in flexibility, use a Modular insert to 'drop in' your own custom configuration of oscillators or filters, using the Modular 1 or 2 modules.

Rotor EX

-
For those of you familiar with my older "Rotor" products, this has almost all of the previous functions of those, with an added level of modulation capability unavailable with the earlier designs. With a total of 16 oscillators (with a variety of types, including sample playback), two extended mode filters, 4 envelopes (one 8-stage looping env), 2 LFOs, stereo panning, ring modulation, a modulation matrix of 4 mod paths, and a total of 5 Rotor objects in the system, the Rotor EX is suitable for expansive sound layers and textures, strange and organic, with FM possibilities as well as other hybrid structures.

RD Drum

-
New!! RD Drum. An 8 channel, 16 step sequencer drum box with fully user-definable instruments! Uses the RD (Red Dwarf) concept of inserting whatever modules you want for each of the eight positions. The RD Drum comes with 32 RD Drum modules, and has a very flexible step sequencer. Patterns can be polymetric or polyrhythmic, as you like!

CombPlusPro v3.0

-
2 Oscillators (morphing from sine to saw_, a multimode filter, a Comb filter, 3 envelopes, 2 LFOs, mono and stereo insert FX raxks, 3 band EQ, stereo Delay...this sefficient synth packs a lot of sound for very little DSP.
Updated for 2006 with the new-style preset list and paged surface sections.

Orion Custom v3.0

-
Orion CUSTOM:
This is a 2 oscillator "analog style" synth, with cross-mod (amplitude modulation), hard sync, Filter FM, overdrive, and stereo flanger and delay. Great for those cutting lead sounds or punchy comps! It includes the following:
1) Parallel Lowpass (2 types of 24 dB), Highpass (24 dB), Bandpass (12/24 dB), and Comb filters. Each has separate mod amounts for 4 sources - Envelope, LFO1, Aftertouch, and Osc 2, and individual levels.
2) A U KNOW (I spell it U No on the panel for space reasons) with a popup control surface for it. The Pulse Width Modulation is the same as for Osc 1.
3) U No oscillators have extended phase modulation functions
4) Stereo Chorus and Delay included

Ambient RD

-
I've taken the current version of the Ambient (v3.1) and converted it into an RD version. The four main oscillator sections and the two filters are replaced with RD slots, allowing the user to customize the architecture of the signal path.
The Ambient RD requires the RD Modules series II to play the factory presets, but will work with SpaceF satellites when creating your own custom presets. Price for the Ambient RD is 60 Euros, or you can purchase a bundle of the Ambient RD with RD modules (normally 65 Euros) for a price of 99 Euros.

Dark Star v3.0

-
Now with RD Module Slots!
The Dark Star is a subtractive synth "powerhouse", with every type of filter available, and features a Parallel Output panel and Free Filter Bank. Each filter except the Free Filter Bank can be replaced by user-defined RD Modules. The Free Filter Bank has 8 bandpass filters whose frequency is decided by the user - just type in the desired range. Each has its own level amount. There is an overall Q (resonance) and gain control, plus a half/full switch to save on DSP usage, if desired. There is a switchable 12/24 dB Lowpass filter, a multimode 12 dB filter with Lowpass, Bandpass, and Highpass, and a Comb filter. These filters have all possible series configurations. Along with the Free Filter Bank, these filters are also available in a parallel mode, with separate mixes for each of the five input signals (Multiwave Osc, Juno Osc, Wav Osc, Filtered Noise, and External Input). Separate outputs for each are also provided.
The Multiwave Osc features 2 new waveforms derived from the Prophet VS; the Wav Osc can load any .wav, or Akai-s format file. Three envelopes (2 x ADSR, 1x AD), an Envelope Follower, two full-featured LFOs with audio range, quantizing, and MIDI-sync are provided for modulation, and 2 sine wave LFOs (for a total of 4). The Envelope Follower can track the External Input or the Wav Oscillator. The AD Envelope can also be replaced by using the available RD Module slot.
The output section features an overdrive, single band EQ, stereo chorus, FX Insert Slot, and stereo delay. Any Creamware or 3rd party effects can be used.
Unison/Stack mode and Legato Mode is now offered in v3.0, as is the new preset list function and XTC Mode.
Of course, all of this power doesn't come cheap - the maximum polyphony on a standard Pulsar I card is 3 voices, with all functions enabled. Polyphony can be increased by disabling unused sections, or expanding to additional DSP cards.

Rotor Jr.

-
Similar to the Rotor 48RD, but using only 1 rotor module instead of 4, the Rotor Jr. adds extensive pitch modulation, and already includes the stereo flanger and delay from the Rotor 48. You also have the option to mix the 4 oscillators apart from the rotor output, giving a 4 oscillator 'virtual analog' synthesizer for more traditional sounds. The new v2.0 no longer requires the RD Module pack (65 EURO), but does use a number of the RD modules in presets, since it is also semi-modular in design. All parameters are selected through 'paging' on one surface, for ease of use.
